The Dubai Entrepreneur Academy, the educational arm of the Mohammed bin Rashid Foundation for the Development of Small and Medium Enterprises, one of Dubai’s economic institutions, has demonstrated a prominent and distinct level of flexibility and readiness for digital transformation, as the total number of consulting programs and sessions that the Academy has accomplished remotely during the past April and May, 31 programs and sessions, distributed by 21 training programs and 10 counseling sessions, benefiting 1495 participants.

Dubai Economy said in a statement yesterday that the programs and sessions diversified to include various topics, such as: effective crisis management, operational cost control, e-commerce, sales and marketing patterns and methods, and virtual project management.

The Academy relied on presenting programs and sessions on various smart platforms, such as "Microsoft Teams" and "Zoom" applications, in addition to social media platforms, to provide the target groups with access to various programs.

The Executive Director of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Establishment for the Development of Small and Medium Enterprises, Abdul Baset Al-Janahi, said that "the Foundation is keen in its various branches, to continue to provide financial, consulting and knowledge support, to help startups and entrepreneurs to overcome the unprecedented (Corona) crisis."

For her part, Director of the Dubai Academy for Entrepreneurship, Ibtihal Al-Naji, said, "The current crisis and its repercussions have provided a great opportunity for the academy, not only in terms of preparation and preparedness for the current crisis, but in terms of preparation for the future in general as well."
