Already available in the T5 Recharge version of 262 horsepower, the Volvo XC40 is now also available in the T4 Recharge version of 211 horsepower. The technical basis remains identical but the power of the heat engine is simply reduced from 180 to 129hp.
The electric motor still offers 82hp, and the battery offers a 100% electric autonomy of 45 km WLTP in all cases. The performances are obviously revised slightly downwards, with a 0 to 100 km / h achieved in 8.5 seconds instead of 7.3 seconds, and the top speed bridled to 180 km / h is now common to all Volvo . The towing capacity remains 1,800 kg.
The main advantage of this T4 Recharge version is obviously financial, since its price starts at € 47,400, a differential of € 1,100 compared to the T5 Recharge with similar equipment. Finally, the T4 is, like the T5, eligible for the ecological bonus of € 2,000.
