Abu Dhabi Airports has announced the installation of contact control systems that operate with unique technology in 53 elevators at Abu Dhabi International Airport, in cooperation with the UAE company Meta Touch, a pioneer in this field, with the aim of reducing the possibilities of transmission of the Corona virus through the direct touch of elevator control panels.
The move is part of the efforts made by Abu Dhabi airports to provide a virus-free environment and limit its spread. The new technology providing contactless control panels was designed and manufactured by Meta Touch, a startup based at the Emirates University of Science and Innovation Park, and develops innovative solutions that support health and safety standards.
