The French government "puts the package on research," says Agnès Pannier-Runacher. Bruno Le Maire on Tuesday unveiled a vast plan to support the aeronautics industry, ravaged by the coronavirus crisis, representing "a total effort of 15 billion euros for the nation". Some 1.5 billion euros in public funding will be spent in the next three years on research and development. Objective: a plane "decarbonized" by 2035, explains Agnès Pannier-Runacher, Secretary of State for the Economy, at the microphone of Europe 1.

"It is a very ambitious target, that is why we are doing our part in research in civil aeronautics," she affirms.
