Gasoline prices across the country have risen for two weeks in a row.

Domestic oil prices fell for the 17th consecutive week since the end of January due to the fall in international oil prices, but rose last week as international oil prices rebounded.

The price of gasoline sold by the Korea National Oil Corporation this week was KRW 1,276.1 per ℓ, up 17.5 won from last week.

Following the rise of 9.8 won last week, this week's rise was 17.5 won, making the increase even greater.

The price of gasoline in Seoul, the nation's highest priced area, was 1,374.3 won per ℓ, up 17.1 won from last week.

The cheapest area is Daegu, and gasoline prices climbed 21.0 won to 1,241.3 won per ℓ.

By gas brand, gasoline at the SK gas station was the most expensive at 1,286.7 won per ℓ, and gasoline was the cheapest gas station at 1,232.7 won per ℓ.

The sales price of diesel was KRW 184.2 per ℓ, up 15.6 won from last week.

Oil prices in Korea are expected to rise further for the time being, as oil prices are expected to be reflected in the future.

International oil prices continued to rise this week.

The price of Dubai oil, which is the basis of crude oil imported by Korea, is $38.9 per barrel, up 4.6 dollars from last week.

"The oil price has risen as a result of the agreement between Saudi Arabia and Russia to extend production cuts," said the Korea National Oil Corporation.
