It is reported by BelTA.

“In early June, the Ministry of Energy of Belarus sent a letter to Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee, identifying key issues on the bilateral agenda and suggestions for discussing them, in particular on the terms of gas supplies in 2020,” the statement said departments.

It is clarified that the appeal to the Russian company also refers to the pricing methodology since 2021.

“The letter emphasizes that disagreements on determining the cost of natural gas supplied, taking into account its calorie content, have arisen between business entities - Beltopgaz, Naftan and Gazprom transgaz Belarus,” the ministry added.

Earlier, Gazprom CEO Alexei Miller said that the Russian company would be ready to begin negotiations on gas supplies to Belarus in 2021 after resolving the issue with the country's debt. According to him, the amount of “Belarusian debt” is $ 165 million.

The Ministry of Energy of Belarus freely stated that the Belarusian side had no debt for imported natural gas.
