Etihad Aviation Group has announced an extension of the employee salary deduction period for an additional three months, given the current conditions resulting from the pandemic of the Corona virus emerging (Covid 19).

A spokesman for the group explained that the Corona pandemic posed unprecedented challenges to airlines around the world, including Etihad Airways, but it sought to preserve its team members and employees.

The decision to extend the salary deduction period for employees for an additional three months, bringing the salary cut period to six months due to the current situation.

A spokesman said that the rate of reducing the salaries of first-aid assistants and air hospitality crew reached 25%, while it reached 50% for managers and above, reflecting current market conditions.
