EasyJet plans to start flights from Schiphol again from 1 July, the airline announced on Tuesday. The number of scheduled flights is lower due to the reduced demand.

It is not known exactly how much is flown to certain destinations. According to easyJet, the flight schedule is "in line with current customer demand". Ultimately, there must be flown to 35 destinations from Schiphol.

"Thanks to the routes we will be flying again from July onwards, business travelers can make their essential trips again, people can be reunited with friends and family abroad, and hopefully also on summer holidays if the measures allow this," says country manager easyJet Netherlands William Vet .

EasyJet starts in July with 26 destinations, including Dubrovnik, Ibiza, Nice and Tel Aviv. Cities such as Basel, Copenhagen and Rome will be added in August. Face masks for passengers and crew are required on the flights. Also, no food and drink is served on board.
