The Ministry of Civil Aviation intends to operate new exceptional flights to Dubai and 7 different destinations in Arab and foreign countries, in order to return the Egyptians stranded abroad to the country, after suspending the movement due to the new Corona virus.

Informed sources at the ministry confirmed that the extraordinary trips will be operated to Dubai, Beirut, Amman, Muscat, Jeddah, Riyadh, Baghdad, and Sydney, according to what was reported by the Egyptian newspaper Al-Ahram.

The sources added that these trips are scheduled to be launched within the next two weeks, noting that the quarantine departments at Egyptian airports are conducting a check-up for all the returning passengers on board these trips, before determining how and where to isolate them healthily according to the Ministry of Health's instructions for isolating the returning visitors from abroad.

It is noteworthy that the Civil Aviation Authority has announced the suspension of air traffic to and from Egyptian airports since March 19, with the exception of air freight flights and charter flights so that tourist groups can return after the end of their programs without bringing in new ones, international ambulance flights and domestic flights.
