Bruno Le Maire, Minister of Economy and Finance, was the guest of Europe 1 on Friday morning. He returned to the situation of Renault, in a very bad patch following the health crisis of the coronavirus.

"There is an urgent need to act," warns Bruno Le Maire, Minister of the Economy and Finance, guest of Europe 1 Friday morning. "Renault can disappear, large industrial manufacturers can disappear, you have to be lucid," he said.

Renault, the French industrial flagship, finds itself in a very bad patch, having seen its factories and its commercial network paralyzed by the coronavirus crisis and the confinements decided in particular in Europe, which brought the new market down by 76.3% in April on the Old Continent. The diamond group was already weakened before this episode, having suffered in 2019 its first net loss in ten years.
