According to the representative of the IMF in the negotiations, Ivanna Vladkova Gollar, the new standby loan is “aimed at ensuring a balance of payments and budget support to help the authorities to deal with the effects of the shock from COVID-19.”
The agreement will be reviewed by fund management in the coming weeks, she said.
