Vice President of Economic Affairs Nadia Calviño has called to order in the Government to demand that its members verify the reality of the country and dedicate themselves to "solving problems instead of creating them."

Calviño made these statements in a videoconference with the Vice President of the European Commission Valdis Dombrovskis during a debate organized by the Círculo de Economía.

"We are facing the biggest recession in our recent history with a drop in GDP of over 9% this year, three million workers in suspension of employment and growing poverty rates," he recalled in his response to his opinion on the agreement signed yesterday by PSOE and Unidas Podemos with Bildu to repeal the labor reform.

"With these elements, a debate like the one that arises would be absurd and counterproductive," he said, to top it off by indicating that citizens pay us to solve problems, not to create them. "
