Putin noted that while there is no such integration, gas prices should be formed on the basis of market conditions.

“As for the common tariff proposed by our Armenian and Belarusian friends for gas transportation and transit services, we believe that a single tariff can only be implemented on a single market with a single budget and a single tax system. Such a deep level of integration in the EurAsEC has not yet been achieved, ”Putin said.

According to him, Armenia and Belarus do not accept the proposed common formula of the EAEU countries to gas prices. He noted that the formula is supported by Russia, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.

Earlier, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said at an extraordinary meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council that the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) has matured to reach a higher level of integration.
