Starbucks 850 stores closed for the new Corona reopened today May 19 6:01

Starbucks, a major coffee chain, will restart operations from the 19th at about 850 stores in 13 prefectures that were closed due to the spread of the new coronavirus, after thoroughly implementing infection prevention measures.

Of these, the eight prefectures of Hokkaido, Saitama, Chiba, Tokyo, Kanagawa, Kyoto, Osaka, and Hyogo, where the state of emergency continues, will be open for take-out only for the time being.

The five prefectures of Ibaraki, Ishikawa, Gifu, Aichi, and Fukuoka will also resume operations in the store.

About 350 stores in 34 other prefectures, which were previously open only for take-out, will also be reopening their stores.

On the other hand, about 350 stores in the closed commercial facilities will continue to be closed.

The company says that the number of seats in the store will be reduced and the seats will be rearranged to keep the distance between customers, and to prevent infections, such as restricting access to the store when it is crowded.

In the coffee chain, there are movements to reopen stores that were closed even at Doutor Coffee and Tully's.
