On Monday, travelers will again be able to move around the country beyond 100 km from their home, provided they present a certificate during the checks. But to avoid an influx into stations, they will have to respect certain rules and adopt new behaviors. The situation looks particularly tense in Île-de-France. 

From Monday, the date of the start of deconfinement in France, travelers will have to change their habits on buses, trains and metros. What will journeys in public transport look like, especially in the Paris region, where the coronavirus circulates even more than elsewhere? Europe 1 takes stock.

You will first need to be patient before entering a station to take a train, subway or before getting on a bus. Wearing a mask will be compulsory everywhere in all networks and travel must take into account the different markings on the ground. In most buses, the climb will also be at the rear. 

Present a certificate from your employer 

In Île-de-France, flows will be filtered and the police will strengthen the SNCF and RATP teams. The passenger must present them with a certificate from their employer which proves that they must take public transport. Monday and Tuesday, no fine or sanction is expected if this document is not in the possession of the passenger. However, from Wednesday, the absence of a certificate will be penalized with a fine of 135 euros.

"Tomorrow, all the SNCF, RATP and prefecture teams from the Île-de-France region will be mobilized to follow, hour by hour, and possibly take measures to adapt the system. [...] We will all be committed and able to be reactive in the coming days ", assured Sunday Jean-Baptiste Djebbari, Secretary of State for Transport, at the microphone of Europe 1.  

Masks made available 

For her part, Valérie Pécresse, president of the Île-de-France region, assured Sunday on Europe 1 that masks will be available for travelers. "Île-de-France mobilités, the organizing authority for transport, will it, for public transport, give a fabric and washable mask more than 20 times to all Navigo subscribers so as to set them up for stirrup, "she said. "In all the stations and all the stations, we asked that we can buy masks," she said, referring to a "huge challenge" for the region.

Regarding road trips, in Île-de-France, two lanes will be reserved for carpooling on Monday on the A1 and A6a motorways. In addition, companies will have the possibility of setting up a "sustainable mobility package" on Monday to encourage their employees to go to work by bicycle or carpooling, according to a decree published on Sunday. This system will involve assistance of up to 400 euros per year paid by employers for journeys from home to the workplace.
