A spokesman for "Etihad Airways": "The carrier is working closely with the UAE government and international aviation authorities, to resume flights gradually as soon as conditions permit."

He stressed that travel will be allowed only for travelers who hold a valid residence in the UAE, and who have the approval number issued by the authority.
He noted that an epidemiological test and thermal scan will be conducted upon arrival in Abu Dhabi, and passengers will be required to self-isolate upon arrival for a period of 14 days.
The spokesman indicated that if the flight time to the airport coincides with the curfew hours in the country, he will be asked to show a reservation confirmation or a travel ticket. The spokesman said that outbound flights are currently available until May 31.
