The price of Dubai oil, which collapsed the US $ 20 per barrel in 4-5 weeks in April due to the plunge in oil prices, rebounded this week to recover to US $ 20.

The price of Dubai oil, the basis for crude oil imported into Korea, was $ 25.7 per barrel, up 7.6 dollars from the previous week.

It is interpreted that this reflects the anticipation of the reduction agreements of oil-producing countries that are implemented from May and the Corona 19 sedation.

"The international oil price rose due to the expected fall in Saudi Arabia's crude oil exports in May and the expected recovery in demand due to the resumption of the economy in major countries," said Korea National Oil Corporation.
