“On April 30, 2020, a shareholder agreement was concluded between the Bank of Russia and the Government of the Russian Federation represented by the Russian Ministry of Finance,” the statement said.
As noted, it was signed to ensure the rights and legitimate interests of participants in corporate relations and will be valid until the end of April 2023.
On April 9, the Ministry of Finance closed a deal to acquire a stake in Sberbank from the Bank of Russia for 2.139 trillion rubles.
