Videos transmitted by Dubai Economy through its social media accounts showed a remarkable commitment by merchants and businesses in Dubai markets to the precautionary measures to combat the spread of the Corona virus emerging (Covid 19). Sections showing surprise inspection campaigns by Dubai Economic Inspectors in different regions of the emirate made clear the commitment of merchants to measures that include wearing masks and gloves and putting social spacing stickers.

The Dubai Economy said that it had resumed its campaigns yesterday, which resulted in alerting only a number of establishments without registering violations or closures, stressing that the number of establishments that met the conditions of precautionary measures amounted to about 1342 establishments, including shops inside commercial centers and in open markets.

The Dubai Economic Department called on commercial establishments to continue to adhere to precautionary measures such as wearing masks and gloves and applying the principles of physical spacing and not doing business in the markets during the hours of national sterilization, where the shops are required to close except for activities that are allowed to work 24 hours according to the previous circulars.
