Government has decided to secure additional land to build 70,000 homes in downtown Seoul over the next three years. It is an analysis that the government has sent a signal to the market that there will be no shortage of housing in Seoul in the future.

<Reporter> The

government decided to supply 20,000 units in a way to speed up the project by participating in LH and SH Corporation as an implementer in the Seoul redevelopment project, which was sluggish due to lack of business feasibility.

LH, etc., guarantees the contributions to the members and, if the money is insufficient, the share is shared for 10 years instead of giving the contributions instead.

Tenants in the redevelopment area are eligible for public lease, and small businesses are provided with public lease. These public redevelopment zones were designated as housing supply activation districts, and instead of supplying more than 50% of the total amount excluding members, they decided to give various benefits.

It eases the floor area ratio and donation payment ratio, and is also excluded from the application of the ceiling on the sale price.

Small-scale maintenance projects and private housing projects in the back station area are also secured with an additional 20,000 units.

We plan to supply 30,000 houses by securing idle sites and factory relocation sites in downtown Seoul, such as building 8,000 apartments in the maintenance window of Yongsan Station in Seoul.

[Park Sun-ho / Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport: Consistently maintaining a high quality housing supply policy for real customers, so that the stability of the housing market can be firmly established… .] The

government also introduces pre-subscriptions 1 ~ 2 years ago to the pre-sale of some of the new cities and public housing sites in the 3rd metropolitan area, including Wangsook, Namyangju.

[Eun Young Choi / Korea Urban Institute: (will evaluate to) show strong continued government commitment in the relative housing prices stabilized the situation, policy hammered a wedge -

an assessment that squeezed supply measures as much as possible in a line that does not remove the reconstruction Regulation Comes out.

However, the effect will depend on how many redevelopment zones you want to participate in public institutions and whether you can meet the demand for quality housing.
