In one of Jean Alvarez's two Parisian salons, the protections are in any case already ready: the gel, the masks, the custom-made Plexiglas partitions. For several days, the phone has not stopped ringing, but concerns remain.

"Complete over three weeks"

"We opened reservations since yesterday (Monday, note), we are already full over three weeks," he explained to the Minister of Economy. "So we have to increase the working hours to be able to work with our 27 employees." From Monday 11 May, the hairdresser will open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Several questions remain unanswered: "We are waiting to know if we will have a release of overtime. But it must also be attractive to our employees, therefore tax exempt," hopes the craftsman, to whom the Minister replied that he was in agreement with this provision: "Having more for those who work overtime and which make it possible to restart the economy, I am in favor of it. Honestly, the hardest part is before us, it there will be a shock with layoffs, with bankruptcies of certain companies… The economy must restart. "

The other gray area concerns the opening of shops on Sunday to catch up with activity: "We don't need every Sunday but we need to respond to a demand that is pressing over the three, four weeks who come ", anticipates Jean Alvarez. "Now, we must be interested in restarting because the money we borrowed, we will have to repay it! So you really need to give us these tools," asked the craftsman to minister.
