Among them, the online retail sales of agricultural products were 8.32 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 49.7%, which was 11.5 percentage points higher than the national average growth rate in rural areas.

  Since 2014, the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Finance, and the Poverty Alleviation Office of the State Council have carried out in-depth e-commerce work in rural areas.   The momentum of rural e-commerce innovation and entrepreneurship has not diminished. As of the end of March, the total number of online e-commerce companies in 832 national poverty-stricken counties was 2.469 million, an increase of 7.0% year-on-year. The overall resumption rate of network e-commerce in national poverty-stricken counties reached over 85%. It is estimated that e-commerce in national poverty-stricken counties employ more than 9 million people.
