The opening of the two commercial centers comes after they have successfully completed all the precautionary measures stipulated in the instructions. As for the other commercial centers, which include the World Trade Center Abu Dhabi, Shams Boutique Mall in Al Reem Island, and Al Remal Mall in Al Ain City, a reopening date will be confirmed as soon as the necessary procedures are completed, and strict health and safety measures are taken to ensure the highest levels of protection and hygiene for employees and visitors with Shopping centers resume.

Recent government instructions allow the reopening of retail stores, grocery stores, supermarkets, and pharmacies that have been operating at all times, along with hairdressing and beauty salons that will provide their services through pre-dates only, taking into account social distance.

While the entertainment centers will remain closed, restaurants and cafes will resume work with providing services to groups of no more than four people per table while hosting up to 30% of its capacity.

 These outlets will continue to provide external ordering services and home delivery with support for online delivery options, after the House signed a new agreement in this regard with "Zomato" for delivery services.

Shopping malls are equipped with additional sterilizers in all toilets, with informative signs being installed encouraging guests to socialize in open spaces including escalators.

The retail outlets will accommodate one shop for every five square meters, with locker rooms closed and purchases not allowed to be exchanged. The use of the cashless service will be encouraged to reduce physical contact, and restrictions will be placed on the experience of products, including cosmetics and shoes, all touch screens have been turned off, and elevators are restricted to people of determination only, and older persons over the age of 60 will not be allowed To enter the mall to ensure their safety. Security and cleaning robots will be used inside shopping centers to reduce friction with guests as much as possible, as well as meet all customer service needs with non-contact tablets.


Business hours begin throughout the blessed month of Ramadan from 12 noon to 9 pm, except for supermarkets and pharmacies from 9 am to 12 pm.
