This was reported by TASS, citing company spokesman Jens Muller.

“We know the information provided by the German regulator BNA to the participants in the process. We do not agree with this conclusion, ”he said.

The company said that they are waiting for the final decision of the regulator and will protect their rights.

Earlier, the German publication Handelsblatt, citing a draft decision of the Federal Network Agency of Germany (BNA), stated that the regulator intends to reject the application of Nord Stream 2 AG for exempting the Nord Stream 2 construction project from the rules of the updated EU Gas Directive.

At the same time, the BNA plans to accept comments from interested parties until May 8, and then make a final decision on this issue.
