Incheon Namdong Industrial Complex is home to the largest number of manufacturers in the metropolitan area.

Even in the middle of the day, companies that have stopped working are easily noticed, and there are placards to rent factories.

The auto parts maker had been closed due to corona's exports, and the factory was closed until early May.

Another auto parts company has reduced the number of work days.

[Auto parts company official: I will take a break because there is no work. He said that he worked for 4 days a week temporarily ... .] A

nearby metalworker has no place to sell when a blockade is issued in the country where the finished product was exported.

[Attorney of metalworking companies: Italy has exports, but boilers… There it is, too. Kitchen utensils and things that have gone to China have also been cut off.]

Long overtime after 9pm, the smaller companies, the bigger the blow.

[Person in charge of plating industry: Almost 70% (work is reduced.) There are many places where I do not work.]

[Person in charge of plating industry: (Do you work overtime these days?) I can't even (all) a day ... I can only do it at 5 and 4:30.]

National industrial complex production in February decreased by 6.7% from January when Corona 19 began, but it is clear that March and April performance, which has not yet been announced, will have worsened.

The Namdong Industrial Complex, which has survived the IMF foreign exchange crisis and the global financial crisis, is not as serious as this.

There is a growing sense of crisis that a series of bankruptcies can be realized from the third quarter if the expected second quarter is not exceeded.
