  • Q&A Descaled in Spain after the Covid-19: what can be done and when in the 4 phases

The National Association of Perfumery and Cosmetics (Stanpa) has prepared a Guide of Recommendations of basic reference for the recovery of the activity of hairdressing salons in Spain with which they intend to "take extreme precautions" .

The list includes hygienic-sanitary recommendations for the coronavirus , as well as security measures and action protocols that ensure the protection of both workers and customers based on the Government's premises, which is why "it is possible that some salons will need a few more days to exercise caution in their preparation, "said Thursday in a statement.

The prior appointment becomes the "priority" instrument to ensure individual customer service, with the use of individual masks, frequent hand washing and the use of gloves when appropriate.

The usual towels will be replaced by disposable towels and in the collection of the service the use of electronic means will be "encouraged" .

Stanpa recommends that the space should be signposted to respect the minimum distance between people, through marks on the floor or barriers, in addition to restricting the number of clients according to the size of the room and the imposition of time flexibility to service the population in a staggered manner and thus guarantee safety standards.

The individual disposable protective material will be located in specific containers and the water dispensers will be removed in substitution for individual water bottles or single-use glasses.

They recommend the temperature control at the entrance of the workers and that the work clothes and footwear are different from those used before entering and leaving the workplace, as well as their daily washing at 60º.

They also consider it advisable to avoid jewelry in the area of the hands such as bracelets, watches, rings and to keep your hair up. Each worker will have their own materials , which will be sanitized in each service.

Clients are recommended to use the mask and not to get rid of the disposable gown; Your personal belongings will be stored in an individual bag that will be delivered on departure, and the provision of magazines, newspapers, etc. is restricted. , that can be passed from hand to hand.

The hairdressing sector employs more than 150,000 workers directly, the vast majority of whom are women, 85% of the total
