On April 29, Nanning Customs, affiliated to Shuikou Customs, commissioned a professional agency to centrally destroy 12.08 tons of cattle leather trims seized recently. These cattle leather scraps are in strips, and the packaging is simple and different in size. They are smuggled into China through gray channels and intercepted and seized by the Anti-Smuggling Branch of Shuikou Customs. After identification, the batch of leather scraps is a solid waste banned by China and will cause harm to China's environment. Once it enters the market, it may also affect consumers' health. According to the relevant requirements of the General Administration of Customs and the environmental protection department, the batch of "foreign garbage" will be treated harmlessly in relevant enterprises.
