The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority has warned of fraudulent messages exploiting the name of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai and claiming that they are issued from the website of His Highness.

The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority said that the description of the link already in "WhatsApp" appears at first glance to be the link of His Highness's website, but that is not correct and requested, organizing the communications to pay attention to the fake sites and beware of the short links that come from unknown people.
She pointed out that it is a ruse targeting deception, and one must be wary of it, explaining that fraudulent messages appear extensively in Ramadan.
