Travel booking and online car rental market is expected to rebound

  In terms of travel reservations, the "Report" stated that due to the impact of the new coronary pneumonia epidemic, as of March 2020, the number of online travel booking users in China reached 373 million, a decrease of 37.05 million from the end of 2018, accounting for 41.3% of the total netizens.

  "Report" believes that in the short term, the online travel booking industry has been greatly impacted, and the user scale has dropped significantly; in the medium and long term, as the epidemic gradually improves to the end, the online travel booking industry is expected to enter a rebound period.

  In terms of technological empowerment, "Report" analyzes that digital application has become a new driving force for the development of the travel booking industry. The data shows that 60.8% of users had travel experience sharing behavior in the past year.

  In addition, rural tourism has become one of the important ways for the poor people in China to escape poverty. According to data from the National Rural Tourism Monitoring Center, 101 poverty alleviation monitoring points (built-up poverty-stricken villages) were established in 25 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities), and 4796 people achieved poverty alleviation through the rural tourism economy, accounting for 30.4 %, Through rural tourism, the per capita income of the poor people at the monitoring points increased by 1,123 yuan.

  In the online car-hailing market, the "Report" shows that as of March 2020, the number of online car-hailing users in China reached 362 million, accounting for 40.1% of the total netizens. Affected by the new coronary pneumonia epidemic, some cities have suspended online car-hailing services. In the medium and long term, the scale of online car-hailing users will recover.

  In 2019, the compliance process of the online car-hailing industry will accelerate, including the continuous optimization of the online car-hailing access conditions, the establishment of a "blacklist" early warning mechanism, and the accurate enforcement of laws relying on next-generation information technology. Online education users soar

  Data show that in 2019, China's online education initiated a total of 148 financings, a year-on-year increase of 38.3%, and the total financing amount reached 11.56 billion yuan.

  At the beginning of 2020, the opening of schools across the country was postponed, and 265 million students at school generally switched to online courses, and user needs were fully released. Facing the huge demand for online learning, all kinds of enterprises are actively responding, and the industry is showing explosive growth.

  Data show that the number of daily active users of multiple online education applications during the epidemic reached more than 10 million.
