Russia's GDP in the I quarter grew by 1.8%

This follows from the assessment of the Ministry of Economic Development, published on the website of the ministry.

The Ministry of Economic Development has not yet published its calculations for March.

Earlier, the Minister of Economic Development of Russia Maxim Reshetnikov said that the Russian budget deficit in 2020 is still estimated at 5-6% of GDP. 

The head of the Russian Audit Chamber, Alexei Kudrin, noted that the recession of the country's economy in 2020 could reach 7-8%, but it will recover after the crisis.
