While nearly 10 million people are partially unemployed in France, training initiatives are flourishing to predict his return to the job market after confinement. This is the case, for example, of Uknow and StaffMe Academy, two certified training organizations. Monday on Europe 1, their founders explained their operation.

During the confinement, the trainings are an unprecedented success in France where nearly 10 million people are partially unemployed. And most platforms are adapting to this new situation. Monday in France on Europe 1, Yannick Petit, director and co-founder of Uknow and Jean-Baptiste Achard, co-founder of StaffMe, presented the changes to their online training organizations, which are increasingly welcoming more learners during containment.

The Uknow organization includes around 50 training courses available online. "Coaches support the participants individually," explains Yannick Petit. "These training courses allow you to develop various skills including soft skills, that is to say the ability to manage stress, improve self-confidence or manage your time."

Currently, the State encourages the training of employees with partial unemployment because companies can be fully reimbursed for training provided to their employees in partial activity. And for Yannick Petit, confinement is thus a good opportunity to train.

"Remove the locks" blocking access to training

"It is important to take a step back to choose new skills to develop and thus strengthen your employability," he says. "We decided to open five training courses free of charge to remove all the locks that prevented access to the training course," says Yannick Petit. "For example, we created training on emotional intelligence. The objective is to understand our emotions, understand how we can use them to better communicate at work or with loved ones. Today, we have more than 6,000 people who follow this program, "he rejoices.

For his part, Jean-Baptiste Achard has set up a training system dedicated to young freelancers and entrepreneurs: StaffMe Academy. "The idea is that these young people can very simply train themselves remotely or face-to-face to gain employability and tomorrow, integrate into the job market much more easily", summarizes Jean-Baptiste Achard. "Today, all of our training is done remotely via videoconference and in small groups of ten to twelve people," he said.

"Good" returns

This very young initiative also takes advantage of confinement to develop. "The feedback we receive is extremely good, both from the trainers and from the learners who greatly appreciate this format," says Jean-Baptiste Achard. "I think we will maintain it after confinement. We will mix face-to-face and videoconferencing." He also ensures that these training courses are "fully supported" since young people "are entitled to training credits that they can activate".
