  Li Mei said that due to drought this year, some tea production has been severely reduced, and some hills in Xishuangbanna have reduced production by about 20%, but the quality has increased. The final price of high-end tea is basically the same as last year, in short supply. The price of low-end and middle-end tea has dropped by about 15%.

  In addition, in order to better protect the ecological environment, since last year, all relevant law enforcement agencies in Xishuangbanna have investigated and punished the acts of stealing and developing tea cultivation in state-owned forests. This year, picking is prohibited in the mountains of Xishuangbanna state-owned forests. Therefore, this year's Spring Tea release week will not release the price index of state-owned forest hilltops.
