  After Li Jingfang, a "post-80s" foreign worker, returned to his hometown and started his own business, with the help of Zhao Ronghui, his father-in-law who was engaged in the acquisition of wild vegetables, he established the Zhen Wild Vegetable Development Cooperative to process and sell wild vegetables. With the support of China Everbright Group and the relevant departments in the county, Li Jingfang's processing plant was completed and put into production, and developed more than ten kinds of Yaoxiang specialty products mainly based on wild vegetables.

  It is reported that Li Jingfang acquired the mountain vegetables picked by the Yao people and signed a protection price purchase agreement with the poor households, which has driven many Yao people around to increase their income. In 2019, the cooperative realized a total sales of 2 million yuan and a surplus of 400,000 yuan, making it one of the major industrial poverty alleviation bases in the Yao village of Menlouxia.

  These wild vegetables have the characteristics of nourishment, deliciousness and pollution-free. The market demand for them is increasing, and the market prospects are promising. With the continuous expansion of the market, simply relying on the villagers to pick wild vegetables up the mountain can no longer meet the demand, Li Jingfang began to try artificial planting.

  "Vegetables have a strong adaptability to the environment and climate, and have strong resistance to diseases and insects. In order to ensure its natural and green pollution-free, we do not use pesticides and chemical fertilizers."
