The government investigated 1,608 abnormal transactions among housing transactions reported in speculative overheating districts such as Seoul in November last year and notified the National Tax Service of 835 suspected tax evasion cases (51.9%).

In the investigation of the house price answering act, 11 cases were reported, such as the case where apartment tenants, etc., posted postings on Internet cafes and forced them to increase their house prices by a certain level.

The government's joint investigation teams, such as the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and the National Tax Service, announced the results of the joint investigation of the third-party related organizations and the investigation into the house price settlement investigation today (21st).

The survey team extracted 1,694 abnormal transactions out of 1,652 real estate transactions reported in speculative overheating districts such as Seoul in November last year and completed an investigation on 1,608 of them.

This is the third investigation of the joint government investigation team.

Previously, the investigation team conducted the first and second investigations on the report of housing transactions reported in Seoul from August to October last year.

If the first and second surveys were limited to Seoul, the third survey was conducted in all 31 speculative overheating districts including Seoul and Gyeonggi-do.

Of the 1,608 investigations that have been completed, 835 cases are reported to the National Tax Service, including suspected donations of illegal gifts by relatives or suspected tax evasion of useful corporate funds.

A teenage student reported that he had bought a 3.5 billion won apartment in Gangnam-gu under a joint name with his parents and sold and financed a 1.5 billion won apartment that he had previously owned under a joint name with his grandmother.

The investigative team reported to the IRS that a teenage student with little income received an apartment as a shortcut.

At the same time, 75 cases that seemed to violate the loan regulations, such as obtaining corporate and business loans for other purposes and using them for housing purchases, were notified to the Financial Services Commission, the Financial Supervisory Service, and the Ministry of Public Administration and Security, the department in charge of Saemaul Geumgo.

A corporation that manufactures business borrowed 1.5 billion won in corporate funds for the purpose of buying a business site, but it was found that the loan was used to purchase a home in Mapo-gu's 2.2 billion won.

The investigation team charged a total of 4.6 million won for 11 transactions that violated the Real Estate Transactions Act, including notifying the police of two cases that seemed to have lent their names to real estate transactions and reporting false contract dates.

In the third investigation, the investigative team conducted more detailed verification by injecting financial inspectors, the National Tax Service and the Financial Supervisory Service of the 'Real Estate Market Illegal Response Group' that was launched on February 21st.

In particular, by inspecting the abnormal transactions of corporations, we were able to find many suspected cases of tax evasion related to corporations, such as the use of corporate funds.

Of the 835 cases reported to the National Tax Service, 57 transactions related to corporations (6.8%) were made.

When a couple bought a 3.8 billion won apartment in Gangnam-gu, they reported that they had donated more than 1.2 billion won from their wife's father and borrowed 400 million won, but the money came out from the corporate account represented by the father.

The investigative team reported to the IRS that it was suspected of using the corporate funds.

The investigative team also launched an investigation into the act of fixing the house price, and 166 cases of suspected out of 364 cases were suspected.

As a result of this, a total of 11 cases will be caught and a criminal case will be filed and a formal investigation will be conducted later.

The case where the allegation was proved through investigation will be actively sent to the prosecution with a prosecution opinion.

House price fixing was reported to have been caught in southern Gyeonggi and Incheon, including Suwon, Anyang, Wirye, and Gunpo.

One apartment resident posted an article on the Internet portal site, Real Estate Cafe, saying, "Never give anything to the XX Real Estate ... Please give me more than 500 million in the real estate." Caught.

Other residents also posted on the Internet cafe, "When you sell a property in real estate, let's put more than 2,000 for the lower floors and 5,000 for the higher floors."

Residents were also encouraged not to use real estate that requires low-priced properties after placing a placard on the apartment complex and writing a false price saying 'a real apartment price'.

Brokers who refused to co-broke a brokerage agency that was not a specific brokerage organization were also hired.

Ten cases of collusion using online spaces, such as Internet cafes, and eight respondents have already received seizure warrants for Internet cafes and brokers' private joint brokerage networks, and the other two are in process.

We are planning to start a full-scale investigation as soon as possible by securing victims' statements and on-site confirmation, etc., of over 100 cases of suspected house price settlement.

The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport recently diagnosed that the share of housing purchases by corporations such as real estate sales corporations continues to increase, and plans to strengthen the crackdown on illegal acts through real estate through corporations.

For example, in Gunpo, the ratio of corporate real estate purchases in January to April last year averaged 1.2% per month, but it rose to 8.0% in March this year.

Kim Young-han, a land policy officer at the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, said, "Since the response team was launched, the ability to detect illegal and abnormal transactions in real estate has improved greatly."
