"Economy" publishes the updated list of 94 services whose fees have been reduced by ratios between 17 to 98%

The list of electronic services that the Ministry of Economy decided to reduce fees for them included 94 services, where the reduction rates ranged between 17 to 98%, according to what the updated list published by the ministry today on its website shows.

The large reduction rates in fees that were approved by Resolution No. 20 of 2020 issued by the Council of Ministers reflect the government's keenness to reduce the burdens on all companies and institutions operating in the UAE.

The efforts of the federal government were and still are focused on enhancing the attractiveness of the national economy and reducing the cost of doing business and in a manner that enhances the country's competitiveness within the global indicators.

The UAE ranked first in the Arab world in the Doing Business report for the year 2020 issued by the World Bank, which made it maintain its position as one of the most important centers for attracting innovators, entrepreneurs and investors at the global and regional levels and accordingly classified by the international institution among the top 20 global economies.

Returning to the details of the list of reduced fees, it included a large number of services provided by the Ministry of Economy electronically, including the renewal of the registration of branches of national companies in the auditors' record for each branch and the registration of a commercial agency in the commercial agents register. The reduction also included services fees for registering a trademark or group of marks For goods, products, or services, in addition to the service fees, to request the registration of the foreign company in the register of foreign companies and the registration of branches of foreign companies in the auditor's record and other other services.

It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Economy announced last March to stop using smart access to the electronic services website and replace it with the digital ID of customers who provided them with a full explanation of how to upgrade their account on the website.
