Public masks for families who do not live on the 20th are also available for purchase.

The Central Disaster Safety Countermeasures Headquarters (Medium Version) announced plans to expand the purchase of proxy masks at the Corona 19 briefing held at the Seoul Government Complex on the 19th.

So far, only public parents and children living with the resident registration department are allowed to purchase public masks.

Starting on the 20th, if you can confirm that you are a family with your family relationship certificate, you can purchase a public mask on your behalf even if you do not live together.

As a result, it became possible to purchase proxy masks for elderly parents or pregnant women who do not live together.

Families who can purchase a mask as a family relationship certificate are ▲ born before 1940 ▲ born after 2002 ▲ pregnant woman ▲ hospitalized patient ▲ long-term care recipient.

Foreigners who have been in Korea and abroad for a long time but have not been able to buy a public mask because they have not registered for a health care system without health insurance, can buy a public mask from the 20th.

These foreigners, which are counted at about 460,000, can obtain public masks at pharmacies, post offices, and Nonghyup Hanaro Mart if they bring an alien registration card, permanent residence card, or residence card.
