Relief of "Money Money" Landed Solidly

Recently, the Beijing Municipal Transportation Commission and the Beijing Municipal Finance Bureau jointly issued a support policy for the taxi industry: from January 24 to April 30, Beijing taxi companies will provide support measures such as reduction of contract fees to drivers who contract for operation . Taxi companies and individual industrial and commercial households will reduce the contractual fee for drivers who use contracted operations according to the standard of 70 yuan per day for single-bus and 110 yuan per day for double-bus and pure electric cruise taxis.

Shenzhen, Guangdong, introduced special support policy measures, advocating that taxi companies provide temporary monthly rent relief for drivers, and the first rent relief standard is 3,000 yuan per car. All 63 taxi companies in the city have implemented the first phase of RMB 3,000 monthly rent reduction and exemption. Starting from January 1, the income from the provision of public transportation services by taxi companies in Shenzhen will be exempt from VAT. At present, the Shenzhen Municipal Public Transport Administration has rewarded the 200 operating rights indicators due on February 17 with a two-month extension.

The Heilongjiang Daqing Taxi Association has made it clear that after the public transportation is restored, taxi companies will continue to reduce the driver ’s “money money”, and the specific recovery time will be determined separately according to the epidemic prevention and control situation. Since the epidemic, Daqing has exempted more than 4,700 taxis from "credit".

As of March 4, 12 cities in Zibo, Tai'an, Linyi, Shandong, etc. have reduced or waived taxi management fees and contract fees for more than 33,000 taxis, totaling 25.305 million yuan. The Qingdao Municipal Transportation Authority and the Qingdao Taxi Association are advising the majority of taxi companies to appropriately adjust the standard of driver contract fees, management fees or service fees. Jiaoyun Group Qingdao Warm Taxi Co., Ltd. is exempt from the service management fee for taxi drivers of a cooperative operation nature in February this year.

More than 12,000 taxis registered by the Chengdu Chengdu Taxi Association were exempted from the February fee, that is, "coin money" or "contract fee". The Yibin City Center Taxi Industry Association issued a resolution to exempt the wholly-owned taxis from February 9th to 29th (after deducting social security expenses) from the contract fees (after deducting social security expenses), and reduce the free cost by about 700,000 yuan.

On March 3, the Council of Hunan Changsha City Taxi Association issued a notice to continue to implement the reduction and exemption measures in February in March. Shaanxi Xi'an waived the February fee in the previous period, and then waived the contract fee and service fee for March and a half months in March, with a cumulative exemption amount of more than 90 million yuan. Xianyang took the initiative to reduce the two-month contract fee and service fee for more than 1,300 taxis in the city. According to the news released by the Xianyang Transport Bureau, the self-owned vehicle service fee was reduced by about 250,000 yuan, and the company ’s own vehicle contract fee was about 2 million yuan.

On February 28, the Jilin Taxi Association of Jilin Province issued a notice to carry out the second round of reduction and exemption of taxi vehicle contract fees and individual taxi service fees. On the basis of the reduction of all the fees in February, all 43 taxi companies of the Association will further reduce the vehicle contract fees and individual taxi service fees in March by 50%.

Six taxi companies in Wuhu, Anhui decided to waive the contract fees for 1167 publicly managed public rental cars in February and March (RMB 4,000 per vehicle per month) and reduce 70% of the contract fees in April, for a total of 12,630,600 yuan ; For 2,533 entrusted taxis, the service management fee for February and March (150 yuan per car per month) is exempted, and the service management fee for 50% in April is reduced, for a total of about 950,000 yuan.

Subsidies, incentives and support

In addition to fee reduction policies, some cities have also introduced targeted subsidies or incentives to help taxi front-line drivers tide over the difficulties.

Beijing provides full monthly fuel subsidies and job subsidies for cruise taxis in operation. Taxi companies that encourage drivers to insist on operating and reduce contract fees are given certain operating subsidies. Provisions for taxation, social security, and financial support policies issued by the state and Beijing during the epidemic prevention and control period that are applicable to the taxi industry; online car-hailing companies set their own incentives to encourage drivers to operate, reduce the burden of drivers, and ensure that The driver team is stable.

In Shanghai, companies in the contracted mode of taxi operation who insisted on operating during the epidemic prevention period will be charged at 80 yuan per vehicle per day for single buses, and 120 yuan per vehicle per day for double buses.

Shenzhen analyzed the recent operating data and explored the driver's dynamics to formulate a reward mechanism for drivers to get out of the car. If the mileage and time of the driver's operation meet the standard, a reward of 50 yuan will be given on the day, and the reward policy will be tentatively implemented for 2 months.
