According to the head of Fedresurs Alexei Yukhnin, the growth in the number of bankruptcies is organic - it is associated with the development of judicial practice and the dissemination of information about the procedure.

It is noted that in Moscow in January - March, the number of bankruptcies of citizens increased by 40.5%.

Meanwhile, in the Krasnodar and Perm Territories, Rostov and Novosibirsk Regions, as well as in Udmurtia, the number of bankruptcies more than doubled.

Earlier, Izvestia, citing data from Fedresurs, reported that the number of bankruptcies of citizens in Russia in 2019 increased by almost 57%. According to experts, in 2019, 69 thousand Russians were declared insolvent.

According to the United Credit Bureau, the total number of potential bankrupts reached 1.15 million.

At the end of 2019, creditors received only 8 billion rubles out of the required 225.6 billion. The main reason was the lack of property from the debtors that could go into payments.

As noted by Fedresurs, the largest number of personal bankruptcies was registered in Moscow and the Moscow Region — 9.4 thousand. The Samara and Sverdlovsk Regions, as well as St. Petersburg, follow.
