The signed decree approved support measures for organizations and individual entrepreneurs from areas that have suffered most from the virus.

Thus, the inclusion in the register of SMEs provides for an extension of up to six months of payment of income tax, fees and insurance premiums.

In addition, the start date of tax audits was postponed to June 1, 2020.

It also simplifies the procedure for granting organizations deferrals and installments for the payment of taxes and insurance contributions for a period of up to one year, depending on the volume of decrease in taxpayer income and without interest on the amount of debt.

Earlier, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin approved the list of sectors of the Russian economy most affected by COVID-19.
