The Statistics Center in Abu Dhabi said in the fourth quarterly statistical bulletin 2019 issued yesterday that the number of renewed commercial licenses in the emirate in the fourth quarter of 2019 amounted to 19 thousand and 378 licenses compared to 20 thousand and 238 licenses during the same quarter of 2018, a decrease of 4.2% .
According to the center, the number of canceled licenses during the fourth quarter of 2019 was 985 compared to 1109 licenses during the fourth quarter of 2018, a decrease of 11.2%, which is an indication of the improvement of the economic situation and the decline in investment obstacles
At the same time, the consumer basket price index decreased by 0.9% in 2019 compared to 2018, when the index reached 110.7 points in 2019 compared to 111.6 points in 2018.
