At present, domestic major cities such as Wuhan, Chongqing, Chengdu, Zhengzhou, Xi'an, Yiwu, etc. have resumed outbound transportation, and the number of China-Europe trains and the number of shipments have increased steadily.

According to the head of the relevant department of the National Railway Group, in the first quarter, China-Europe trains opened a total of 1941 trains and sent 174,000 TEUs, up 15% and 18% year-on-year, respectively, and the comprehensive heavy container rate reached 98.1%. Among them, the outbound journey was 1049 columns and 95,000 TEUs, up 24% and 28% year-on-year, respectively, and the heavy container rate was 99.9%; the return trip was 892 rows and 79,000 TEUs, up 6% and 8% year-on-year, and the heavy container rate was 95.9%.

In March, China-Europe trains opened a total of 809 trains and 73,000 TEUs, creating a monthly record of the number of open trains and sending boxes, up 30% and 36% year-on-year, respectively, and the comprehensive heavy container rate was 98.9%. Among them, the outbound 503 trains and 46,000 TEUs were up 49% and 55% year-on-year, and the heavy container rate was 100%; the return trip was 306 rows and 27,000 TEUs, up 7% and 12% year-on-year, and the heavy container rate was 97.3%. The number of trips per month and outbound trips reached new highs.

The person in charge introduced that China-Europe trains implement segmented transportation, do not involve personnel quarantine, and have unique advantages under the situation of epidemic prevention and control. They have become an important logistics channel to ensure China-EU trade exchanges and smooth international cooperation in the prevention of epidemic materials. In view of the increasingly serious epidemic situation in Europe and the increasing demand for epidemic prevention materials, the China Railway Group provides priority protection for international cooperation in the prevention of epidemic materials, ensuring that all shipments should be carried out. Since the first trip to China and Europe on March 21, which carried anti-epidemic materials for export to Europe, from Yiwu to the end of March, China and Europe have shipped a total of 338,300 pieces of anti-epidemic materials, totaling 494 tons.
