His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Supreme President and Chief Executive Officer of «Emirates Airlines» and the group, said that «(the carrier) will return Emirati citizens to the country for free, on any of its limited flights that will resume its operation from Dubai this week».

His Highness added, in a tweet on his account on the social networking site «Twitter», that “citizens stranded abroad can communicate with the nearest embassy of the country,” stressing that «Emirates Airlines» is always in the service of the homeland and the citizen.

The «Emirates Airlines» announced, the day before yesterday, that it had received the necessary approvals to transport passengers to some of its destinations, indicating that it is working in cooperation and coordination with the authorities to expand its services, with no negligence in the safety and health of its customers, and flight crews at all stages of flights.

On the other hand, Dubai Airports Corporation revealed that work is underway to complete the procedures of the remaining 91 passengers and passengers who were forced to stay at the Dubai International Airport due to the suspension of most flights for passengers, as of midnight on Tuesday, March 24, 2020, within the framework of Intensive preventive and precautionary measures taken by the State to reduce the spread of the Coronavirus virus (COFED-19).

A statement issued yesterday stated that it was decided to host all the remaining 91 passengers at the airport of different nationalities at Dubai Airport hotels.
