Emirates Airlines has received the necessary approvals to transport passengers to some of its destinations, starting from Monday, the sixth of April. She confirmed in a statement yesterday that flights will operate from Dubai to London Heathrow, Frankfurt, Paris, Brussels and Zurich, with an average of four flights per week to London Heathrow, and three flights per week to Frankfurt, Paris, Brussels and Zurich.

These flights will depart from Terminal 2 of Dubai International Airport until further notice, and will carry passengers from the UAE only, and carry goods in both directions, supporting trade and local communities by transporting basic goods and products.

His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Supreme President and Chief Executive Officer of Emirates Airlines and the Group, thanked the government of the Emirates and all partners for supporting the resumption of operation of Emirates Airlines flights. His Highness said: "Our announcement of the operation of these flights, despite their limited and limited availability to passengers accepted by the authorities and destinations, was very welcomed by our customers who yearn to return to their countries and families."

Resuming operations

His Highness added: «While we hope to resume our operations in full as soon as possible, we understand the challenges that many cities face in dealing with the current conditions resulting from the spread of (Covid 19). Naturally, we will only be able to restore our operations across our airline network by easing travel and flight restrictions, and we work in cooperation and coordination with the authorities to expand our services, with no compromise at all in the safety and health of our customers and crews at all stages of the trip. We will continue to monitor the situation, and we will announce any subsequent plans to resume operating flights as soon as any developments in this regard occur. ”

European destinations

And Emirates Airlines uses flights announced to the five European destinations, "Boeing 777-300ER" aircraft, which provide both business and tourism.
