The Department of Economic Development in Abu Dhabi said that it sent warnings to 15 violating establishments that did not adhere to the prices, circulars and directions issued by the department, during intensive inspection campaigns carried out on 862 economic establishments the day before yesterday in the emirate in cooperation with many concerned authorities

The department stated that the visited economic facilities included 217 retail and grocery outlets, 80 shopping centers, 513 restaurants, mobile cars, a café, and 52 pharmacies.

The department noted that it distributed 176 awareness publications to the establishments during the inspection tours, noting that it conducts daily inspection campaigns on economic establishments to reduce negative impacts and wrong practices and enhance the transparency of the business sector, in the framework of giving priority to consumer protection and ensuring its rights
