Guest of Europe 1, Yann Vincent, the industrial director of PSA, explained that the car manufacturer had set up in its premises in Poissy a workshop intended to support the Air Liquide group for the manufacture of respirators, and this in order to equip hospitals by 10,000 units by mid-May.

Four major industrial groups will join forces to manufacture by mid-May 10,000 respirators to help hospitals cope with the health crisis triggered by the new coronavirus, notably Air Liquide, Schneider Electric, Valeo and the car manufacturer PSA. "We have started to install a workshop in our factory in Poissy", explains to the microphone of Europe 1 Yann Vincent, the industrial director of PSA. This workshop will produce "mechanical blocks" which will then be sent to Air-Liquid to be assembled and become respirators. "We have to be able to climb up to 300 mechanical blocks per day."
