While the tourist cruise season will soon begin, no more ocean liner will dock in the port of Le Havre (Seine-Maritime) in April. Due to the health crisis linked to the coronavirus epidemic, the companies have canceled all their stops, reports France Bleu Normandie.

In total, eighteen stopovers were planned for this month of April. The boats of the Aïda, Celebrity cruises, MSC, Royal Caribean or Norwegian Cruises companies will not see the Seine estuary.

Still unclear for the month of May

The cruise season had already been disrupted in March with five canceled calls. For next May, the shipping companies have given no indication of their intentions to the tourist office.

This month, thirty stopovers were scheduled, including ten double layovers. In this configuration, two liners dock at the same time. This represents 6,000 fewer tourists ready to visit the city.
