A spokesman for flydubai said, "The spread of Virus Covid-19 had a major impact on the aviation and tourism sectors, including the company's business," adding that the carrier "had to adapt to this rapidly evolving situation to take a decision to reduce employee salaries for a period of Three months from April 2020.
The spokesman continued in a statement: "This decision was not taken easily and came to enhance stability in light of the uncertainty and reduce the impact on all its employees with the disruption of the normal lifestyle."
He pointed out that "these measures were taken by the senior management team in an emergency manner with the aim of keeping our employees and ensuring that we are in the best possible place when resuming our usual schedule."
