“The Government of the Russian Federation has acquired assets in Venezuela from PJSC NK Rosneft. The company became the owner, 100% owned by the Russian Federation, ”RIA Novosti quoted the government press service as saying.
Earlier it was reported that the Russian company Rosneft announced the termination of activities in Venezuela.
It is specified that Rosneft has entered into an agreement with a company 100% owned by the Russian government on the sale of shares and termination of its participation in all projects in Venezuela, including shares in the mining enterprises of Petromonagas, Petroperija, Boqueron, Petromiranda and Petrovictoria, in oilfield service enterprises and trading operations.
