“In those settlements where it will be appropriate, we will disable the recycling functionality of ATMs and they will work as usual. Customers will not feel the difference, ”the report said.
They emphasized that more than 70% of Sberbank ATMs do not have a recycling function.
“Sberbank does not plan to introduce restrictions on cash withdrawals at ATMs,” the bank said.
Earlier, the Central Bank recommended that banks take some preventive measures to counter the spread of COVID-19.
Among them is the restriction of the reception and withdrawal of money from closed-circuit ATMs.
