Dubai Holding, the investment group, and Meraas, the developer and operator of the most prominent projects and modern destinations in Dubai, today announced the launch of an economic aid package aimed at supporting their partners and existing customers - individuals and companies - through their corporate portfolio.

The economic assistance package, which exceeds one billion dirhams, is designed to reduce and mitigate the negative effects of the emerging corona virus crisis, known scientifically as "Covid 19", on some operating companies and individuals within the portfolio of "Dubai Holding" and "Meraas" projects and complexes.

Commenting on this step, His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Holding and Meraas, said: “We have instructed the relevant work teams in Dubai Holding and Meraas to ensure assistance and support to some of our existing corporate clients. Or individuals affected by the Covid-19 virus outbreak crisis. This initiative comes out of our firm commitment to our societal and economic responsibility to support our partners during crises and exceptional circumstances, and we will work to design detailed economic aid and support packages for those affected by the crisis in the sectors in which we operate. ”

Dubai Holding and Meraas have formed specialized teams whose mission is to review the specific requirements of those affected by the consequences of the outbreak of the Corona virus and to study each case separately to ensure that they provide adequate stimulus and economic support.
